What if your answers are creepy?
If someone puts a 'creepy' answer, you can Flag it. Staff or Supervisors reviews the Flag. Inappropriate answers are removed.
Why do some people give an answer to a question when they do not know - or are not sure of - the correct answer?
Most people just do this so they can get there contribution total up. They don't give any thought into their answers, just their post count. That's where supervisors come in. Us supervisors correct and flag answers to make them a whole lot better.
Why does WikiAnswers have so much spam answers?
The majority of answers here on WikiAnswers are not spam. Occasionally we do get cases of misuse where spam and other vandalism can sneak in as this is a Wiki which anyone can edit. If you find an answer with spam use the flag tool associated with that question to mark it for review.
How do you get to know that any of your answers are flagged on WikiAnswers?
One way to check is to click on My watchlist under My pages on the left side of the screen. When bots or people such as supervisors flag and unflag your answers, it shows up here.
Can you get your account blocked if you flag on WikiAnswers?
If you flag constantly for no reason at all and ignore supervisors, it is possible.

What methods might supervisors use to discover answers for questions on Answers?
Well, supervisors or regular contributors will use Google, Yahoo, MSN etc., to find their answers to questions they're handling. Then there are times where we will know the answer through our memory.
Why are the answers on this site inconsistent?
The answers provided on the website are generated by individuals on the site. Although the site is monitored by supervisors and others, both good answers, bad answers, and nonsense answers can be entered. Over time, the nonsense and bad answers are weeded out by the supervisors and others. The inconsistency simply comes from the extremely high volume of questions and answers that arrive on the site everyday.
How do you remove flags from questions?
Only supervisors can remove flags from questions (or answers). If you feel a question or answer has been flagged wrongly - contact the category supervisor (they're show on the right of the screen) - via their message board, with a request to have the flag removed. The supervisor will usually look at the question - and remove the flag if necessary.

What must be done to wiki-answers?
Nothing.Another view:Short answer: Delete it and surrender the domain name.Long answer: Get rid of political correctness, supervisors under 21, left-wing bias, and supervisors who abuse their authority. Assure that ALL sides regardless of view get equal time and fair representation. Insure that those who oppose abortion, race-mixing, or gayness get treated the same and don't get bullied by other contributors or by supervisors. Allow those with objections against Wiki Answers and its supervisors freely. A healthy culture allows rebuke and criticism of its leaders. Even America allows you to curse police officers and make obscene gestures at them, call them pigs, and even let you burn the American flag. Does Wiki Answers even have a flag? ;-) Seriously, the place has potential and lots of hard-working contributors and supervisors. It is the bad apples, and particularly those who are supervisors who are harming the overall experience. You'd expect more nonsense from regular contributors. It is not a healthy culture and most of us are afraid to ask what we really feel or to question anything without fear of deletion. There are contributors considering suicide over how a few supervisors are treating them. I honestly hope it does not come to that.
