Supervisors like to be asked questions for many reasons. Some like to know that their employee's are trying to learn more about their line of work and maybe even help that employee move up in position. Sometimes managers/supervisors like to be kept on their toes when asked something they are not sure of it helps everyone grow. Honestly that is the key role of a supervisor to find ways to make the operation move as smoothly as possible with as little hiccups along the way and your question may be the answer they were looking for. finally a question not asked is a question never answered.

Are all questions on WikiAnswers good questions?

Unfortunately not all questions that are asked are good questions some need to be trashed, that is why there are supervisors. It might be because they might not have enough information to answer or that they just are not appropriate for WikiAnswers.

Why doesn't WikiAnswers have answers to questions like what the hell?

Probably because questions like that are meaningless ! Questions such as those are often trashed by us supervisors, because they add no value to this site.

Questions on WikiAnswers can not be deleted by regular contributors. Supervisors can trash questions into a catchall category, but only advanced supervisors can permanently delete questions off the site.

Why do some Answers.Com supervisors ruin peoples' questions by changing them to something different which is not what the people asked and isn't that wrong of them to do so?

The answer is in two parts: (1) Sometimes it is necessary to change the exact wording of questions, especially when the question as asked is incoherent and fraught with errors of spelling and grammar and overly long rant-like phrasing. That is why it is done. (2) No, it is not wrong of them. It is their duty to do so.

Do the supervisors actually read the questions?

Yes they do.

Can Supervisors edit protected questions?

As long as the question does not violate any site rules, questions remain permanently on the site. Staff, Supervisors, Members, and Visitors are constantly working to answer new and old questions.
