It depends how you mean the word stink. If you mean it figuratively, so many "stink" because they are inexperienced in life and haven't learned how to treat other people. Some are rude, bullies, insecure, and hard to get along with. That goes for anybody.
If you mean this more literally, it is because they are very active, eat a lot, and have rapidly changing bodies. As the human body goes through puberty, it produces new types of odors. Certain hormone metabolites produce odor, and some people find the scents more or less pleasant than others. Teens are very active and as a result, they sweat a lot. Sweat contains toxins, bacteria, and various chemicals, and these substances have a bit of an odor.
