Why do the Japanese hate Chinese?

The two countries are close together and in history there have been several wars between them. Therefore there is a good deal of mistrust, between them.

China founded Japan and taught them everything they know about civilization, but as Japan grew they decided that the Chinese were inferior and deserved to be slaughtered. They carried this out buy raping and murdering 20 million civilians in the Pacific War. Now, due to pressure from the global community and because of China's own growth, the Jappies have stopped trying to take over Asia, but still think that the Chinese are dirty animals. Recently, for example, they have ignored the Chinese offers to help with earthquake and tsunami relief because they think it is beneath them.
