Why wouldn't they - the SA80 A2 is a good weapon, it has outstanding accuracy and good durability. The SA80 A1 didn't have good durability as it has many stoppages in rough conditions.
In my opinion it is a good weapon, certainly better than the US's M16.

I personally like the m16 better because of its shorter barrel length and less recoil.
