It's not about computers, it's about software which requires more and more computer resources with each release.
You would have to have adapters and converters. The computer would need to output to a composite NTSC format, and you would need an RF modulator unless the television has a composite input. If it is an older computer that is not IBM compatible, then use whatever adapters included with the computer or made available for it. Some older computers already had the output as an NTSC-compatible format riding on a broadcast channel frequency (channel 2-4 much of the time). There might be special converters for converting directly from VGA, HDMI, or DVI to NTSC or even NTSC broadcast format.

Recent changes have added many more animated Flash based advertisements. This swamps slower connections (and even some fast connections) and can cause crashes (especially if you don't have the latest version of Flash (which can't run on some computers older than 2 or 3 years). You may just be out of luck...
"The laserjet 4v printer hewlett packard printer should work with all PC computers, even though this is an older model of printers. The compatbility with apple is quite different and may not work with those."

Computers do not love their owners because they are not even alive.
Converting VHS to DVD puts your videos into a more compact format that's easier to store and watch for later use. DVDs can also be inserted into computers for even more compact storage.
Yes, even with an old computer, you can do a remote back up in order not to lose any valuable information you which to locate later. Even thought its an old computer it should work the same way.
Very few computers come with BlueTooth, so you are left with connections via cable. Even if you had BlueTooth it would be a lot slower than using the cable connection.
