For people who are pregnant, Gardasil is generally considered safe. This is based on animal studies that looked at the effects of Gardasil during pregnancy. However, Gardasil is generally not recommended during pregnancy, as the full risks of its use are not known. It is recommended to wait until after pregnancy to get the Gardasil vaccine. It has not been studied in women, only in animal trials, so it is considered Pregnancy Category B (probably safe).

Have there been any reported birth defects from women who have had the Gardasil vaccination when pregnant?

There have been none to date. However, pregnant women should not take the Gardasil vaccination becasue it is a new vaccine and all the data are not in yet. There have been limited studies on pregnant women taking it, and for now it seems to be safe, but is not recommended. Pregnant women should wait until after the birth of their child before having the vaccine. If you find out you are pregnant after taking a dose of the vaccine, wait until after the baby is born to have the other doses.

What are the chances of being pregnant if sperm inters you days before your period?

You can get pregnant at any time of the month. But right after your period you have a less chance of getting pregnant, and right before your period because the egg needs to be in the tubes to be fertilized so if its the day before your period its not in the tubes.

Is there any chance that you are not pregnant without using a condom but pulling out?

Does the gardisel shot hurt?

The Gardasil shot hurts worse than almost any other shot I can think of. I got all three rounds of Gardasil last year. I got three other shots at the time of the first Gardasil (flu shot, tetanus shot, and meningitis), and the first Gardasil hurt worse than any of them. The second shot hurt worse than the first one, and the third one hurt worse than the second and the first one. It is worth it though, cancer is even worse. If you are getting the Gardasil shots, ask the nurse or doctor to inject a local anesthesia before the actual vaccine so that it doesn't hurt as bad.

Does gardasil contain eggs?

Nope. It doesn't contain any egg components.

Would you get pregnant if you use protection?
