They don't. Injectors go bad, TPS can be a problem if you do stupid things. The actual throttle body is a pretty simple device. If you like to unplug sensors without taking 30 seconds to disconnect the battery, you are going to have a lot of problems.
check for throttle cable binding on the throttle body, if it jumps out of track it can often cause uncontrolled acceleration while in gear...if not that it could possibly be caused by a sensor beginning to go bad
Either the throttle cable is bad, broken. newer cars have a throttle body sensor. (TPS). This part could go bad as well.
Poor manufacturing
Yes they often do go bad
throttle STICKS, when in gear the motor races and don't go ?
The throttle cable does not go from the transmission to the throttle body.
The parking brake sencer is bad go to www.raptorforums.com to see how to remove it. However I'm having probs with 3/4 throttle cutting out and it's not the reverse rev limiter.
Not often, it is usually the fuel pump that fails.
The sensors that usually go bad in a Dodge truck are the throttle position sensor, the oxygen sensor, engine light sensor and crank sensor. These malfunctions can be fixed on any Dodge dealership.
Only when it goes bad, in most cases it will not go bad.
They are replaced when they go bad.
Not changing the oil often enough
