Not often, it is usually the fuel pump that fails.
i personally have never had a relay go bad
The fuel pump relay is an inexpensive item to replace, if you suspect it is bad replace it with a new one. In my life time I have seen very few relays go bad. In most cases the fuel pump is to blame.
The fan motor and relays do go bad.
check relays in the power distribution center. Fuel pump, Eatx and Autoshutdown relay. Also check the fuses that go to them relays.
If you look carefully, there are 5 or 6 relays. Fuel pump, B-Latch, AC, Air Stepper Motor, O2 heater and Starter relays.
Not likely. If all the fuses and relays check okay, I would suspect the fuel pump is faulty.

There are two main relays. Pop your hood, Look directly to the right of your Break master cylinder and located on your firewall you should see two black relays with separate wire harness attachments. Relays rarely go out so, check your fuses and power to your fuel pump.

For the fuel pump,check your fuses and relays,go to your vehicles owner manual if you are not sure where they are located,usually the fuse block covers will show you what is what. And for the gauge,either the gauge is bad,of something has come disconnected from the connector at the fuel tank,or somewhere along the line. That or another fuse.

If your fuel pump relay goes bad, no fuel is delivered to the engine, vehicle doesn't go
