because as the creator said himself, One for One. it is very inexpensive to make Toms shoes, considering they glue the sole to the bottom, but because they give one pair to Africa, I assume the money goes to paying the plane tickets and storage space.

Mine were $40 but I guess it depends on were you shop. Look at a surf shop and they usually have them. Also Toms tend to stretch once you where them alot so you migh want to get them a little tight. (the sparkly ones dont stretch)
