makeup tends to give us more confidence and professionalism (as long as it's not a lot). we don't want to appear as if we don't care about our job, so we take time to look nice for it.. Just because a woman wears makeup in no way implies that she can not be taken seriously at work. I wear makeup to work every day and I am in a position of authority and I guarantee you that I am taken very seriously by the men that work for me. I maintain a very high standard of personal hygiene and that includes wearing natural looking makeup.
