- Some women will have affairs with men because she may have no children and she is hoping he will marry her and she'll have a ready-made family. Some women feel having an affair with a married man is a safe bet for her (she may be a gold digger or non committal.) Then there is a percentage of women who just want the excitement of knowing they can steal a husband away from his wife and children are involved. A woman who cheats with a married man is self centered; ego maniacal and has no scruples as to the hurt it will cause the wife and the children.
