Unfortunately, they use up a lot of water in this process, leading one to ask the most common party question "dude, Where's the bathroom?" If you don't have any water while drinking or before going to sleep, your body can become very dehydrated through the party and over the night. It's mostly this dehydration which is associated the morning-after stumbles.
