It sounds like your Power Steering fluid may be low. (you might have a leak) I'd check it and top it off if necessary. Keep an eye on it to see if it's leaking. If so, add some fluid with stop leak. I highly recommend Gold Eagle brand. It fixed a leak for me where nothing else would.
check fluid sounds like a bad fluid pump
check the fluid in the power steering pump
If the power steering pump is making a whiny noise on a Pontiac Grand Prix, the way to tell if this noise is from the pump or another source is to turn the steering wheel. If it turns hard, the problem might be with the pump. If the belt quiets down after a drop or two of dish soap is placed on the belt, then it was just the belt causing the noise.
check if your battery is low than usual ..might be alternator problem
It could be low on power steering fluid. That is a common problem. It makes a sharp whining noise when you turn the steering wheel.
It could be a power steering belt that is wore or stretched. If no luck with the power steering belt check the pulley.
check your wheel bearing / hub bearing assy
squeaking noise coming from sleeve covered arm coming from steering column to the wheel
Well, the fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. It may very well be that your pump is what's making the noise.
if noise during accelerating probably cv(constant veloscity) joint easiest to shange whole driver side axle shaft if at all left turns not accelerating may be in steering, suspension, or allignment.
For a start. It has to do with the rear suspension in the struts. GM greased them for me but that did'nt last. They need to be replaced and that can be costly, so I just live with it.Hope this helps ....Ken
It's normal for the ABS unit in that vehicle to make an awful noise while making an ABS stop. I'm not sure exactly what causes it.
