Trunk seal is leaking. I had this same problem....opened the trunk...put silicone all the way around...filling in all the holes. Worked like a champ. could be the taillight seals that is what mine is doing I had the same problem.Water was coming in due to bad seal between tail light gaskets and body.Undo the tail light housings from inside the trunk.Get a tube of silicon sealer and put some on the rubber gasket.Make sure to cover the entire surface with a liberal amount.Press the tail light housing back against the body with some pressure so that you get a good seal and tighten the screws back on.Problem solved! I had thought the same as the previous answers, and put silicon sealer around the tail lights. I never would have guessed it was the third brake light, but it was. Bad seal.

Most likely it is coming in throgh the trunk seal. On a dry day wash your car and then open the trunk and see if the trunk seal is wet and there is a trail of water entering the trunk

Have you checked the Gasket that goes around the Trunk opening?
