Why do you need to reset your wireless router before it allows access to the internet?

Some routers have problems with firmware. If you have problems with your router check if you have last update installed. If you do not have, install it. If it does not work your best bet is visit manufacture's forum. People usually share their problems as well solutions.

I think you mean by can you access a password protected wireless router. The answer is yes, if you ask before doing so. It was a password on there for a reason, to stop people from accessing there internet. However, if the person knows that you want to access there internet and is fine with it, then go ahead. However, if the person says no, you are unable to access the router.
