Clay is "mouldable" and can be "shaped and formed"... and "changed." There is no telling what might be the final product, and it isn't permanently set until it is put to the fire... where whatever shape it has taken on becomes the "finished product."

The Bible refers to God as our "Potter"... and we are the "clay."

"Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? Or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He hath no understanding?" (Isa.29:16)

"...O Lord, thou art our Father; we are the clay, and thou art our Potter; and we all are the work of thy hand." (Isa.64:8)

Our present "fleshly nature" [this lump of clay] that we now are is not the "finished product" that shall be by the end of our lives... and God's plan.

This present life is putting man through a lifetime series of "experiences" that is "forming us" into what we shall one day be.

But it is not the "physical body" that truly matters... but the "spirit that God is moulding within it."

"...the Lord, which stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and FORMETH THE SPIRIT OF MAN WITHIN HIM." (Zech.12:1)

Like a lump of clay awaiting the application of the Potter's hand... the human spirit, at birth, is blank... awaiting life's experiences to program it into the unique personality that life and God's revelation will make of it.

This clay mould that we now are allows us to be formed by our lives, along with the intellect [the spirit] within us. It allows us to experience the lessons of the evils of this, Satan's world... and yet, receive God's salvation and be redeemed from it.

The fire of life's trials and tribulations... and how we deal with it... builds character [good or bad, depending upon how these things are dealt with]. And shapes us into the final unique person that we shall become in the end.

This first stage of life for us... as clay moulds... allows us time to learn and grow in our Creator's Wisdom, Knowledge and Understanding for those whom He is calling, now. And which the vast majority of mankind will learn on Judgment Day.

Life is a learning process in which the flesh [clay] allows man to be formed... to experience life's evils... to produce character growth [good or bad]... and to change and overcomeit.

"Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep [die], but WE SHALL BE CHANGED... THIS MORTAL [clay] MUST PUT ON IMMORTALITY." (I Cor.15:51-53)

The clay that we are allows us to be shaped and CHANGED, at Christ's return, into the Immortal Children of the future Family of God.

"If a man die, shall he live again? All the days of my appointed time will I wait, TILL MY CHANGE COME." (Job 14:14)

Personally, I don't think that. People who do think it tend to think it because it's what they've been taught to think.

Not at all. The first example we can think of is the real image of what you see, formed on the retina of your eye, which is inverted. We suspect that all realimages are inverted.A2. From a grammatical point of view, real and image are not the same thing.Images may be reversed, inverted, or even be negative. It may be better to refer to a 'normal' image rather than real.

What is positive self image?

Positive self image is when you love yourself without a doubt; you don't say negative things about your body, but you accept yourself for who you are and how God created you. If you don't like what you see in yourself, that's going to give you a negative effect throughout your life. And remember, you were created in the image and likeness of God.
