Think about what happens in a hydroelectric plant. The potential energy in the water is called 'potential' because the water has a place to go-- down. As the water falls it gains more and more kinetic energy. What is the water made to do before it's released? It passes through huge turbines and it makes the turbines spin. It's the spinning of the turbines that generates electricity. The kinetic energy of the water is converted to electricity.
Turbines are linked to the generators on a common shaft. The turbines are turned by steam (in the case of nuclear, coal, or biomass power plants), by water (in the case of hydroelectric power plants), or by wind (windmills). The turbine then turns the generator, which creates electricity. Think of blowing on a fan. Your "wind" is turning the blades. Now, if that were attached to a generator, you would be creating electricity. (Of course, you'd have to blow REALLY hard...)
I think that wind turbines are a bad idea. Think about how much it made to make that wind turbine. How much energy it took to make it. Did you know that they will fling ice chunks off flying? Some times whole propeller will go flying off, then they'll hit a building. They have been recorded to fly up to almost a mile. Plus the very annoying noise they make.
radiation, i think
Power turbines are driven by steam. Steam can be raised by thermal, nuclear or geothermal processes. Wind and water can also drive a generator. The auxiliaries for a power station (which I think is what this question is asking) are typically powered by step down transformers within the power station. In nuclear power stations there are often standby-critical supplies which are driven by gas turbines or diesel generators.
they hate wind turbines because they loke agley
They are to loud.
The desert region. THINK! (the Mojave Desert) lol
Think of all the desert animals you can think of then answer the question with what desert animal goes where.
idont think there are mounts in the desert
i think the sun was first placed where it is now
On top of the tongue.
I think Texas because his nickname is the Texas rattlesnake
In the southeast part of the sonoran desert i think
Just an educated guess, but I think...maybe...In a desert?
There are cacti, camels, roadrunners, meerkats, a few spiders, the Texas Horned Lizard, ostriches, caracals and the Sonoran Desert Toad as a few organisms that live there. All of them have some kind of adaptation that allows them to survive in the arid and often sweltering climate.
I think it can be with various water turbines and water current transformers.
