heaven is a perfect world ,filled with love.
A Hindu Perspective:Man sees that existence is continuous!Birth and death are transition points.
Soul only Experiences;has individuality
Universal spirit hasself but no individuality
The desire to live forever gives man craving for heavenly abode
A Secular Description of the Abrahamic Perspectives:According to Christianity and Islam, heaven is a place of peace and happiness, often lasting for all eternity, but without aging or sickness or any kind of suffering. The heaven described in Judaism is somewhat nebulous, but generally there is at least the opportunity for happiness and peace. The fact that heaven is simply a nice place to be would be one of the reasons that people would want to go to heaven.Another reason, arguably far more significant, is that the alternative to heaven is hell. While Jewish believers mostly believe that only infamously bad people will go to hell, Christianity and Islam present hell as the destination of the vast majority of the human race throughout history. It is a place of unspeakable torment, or even among the most moderate believers, a place of unpleasant separation from God. In either case, the condition is again eternal. The desire to avoid hell, coupled with the knowledge that the only other option is heaven, is a significant motivator in the desire to go to heaven.
Heaven seen from the perspective of a non religious perspective that sees the universe a a conscious singularity.
Heaven is home it is the point at which any part of the singularity becomes conscious or realizes the singularity.what we see as pain and suffering justice and injustice is all simply an equal part of the universe. Religions all put some sort of emphasis on the survival of the individual spirit or soul as an entity separate and apart from god suspended in the midst of time and space. Heaven is the point for desperate need of a word that can describe no time and space when the whole of the universe is conscious and there is no chaos. in effect all individuality disappears yet continues to be because nothing is ever lost. happiness ,beauty, justice, good, evil, all of these things are of equal rank in the scheme of things and the reward is the realization of it all at once.
Think of being on fire... that's hell. Think of being with the people you love forever... that is heaven. Now, imagine your wintertime holiday where you got the best present ever/ the best thing happened. That, as well, is heaven. In heaven, there is eternal joy. In hell, there is fire, destruction, and eternal pain. That is why you should choose heaven, if anything. If you want to go to heaven you just have to ask Jesus to come into your heart. :)
