Because, like it or not, alcohol is poison to your body and drains numerous vitamins from the system (B vitamins come first to mind), not to mention the stress it places on the Liver and other organs. Some people seem to have a greater tolerance to alcohol and some succumb to its deleterious effects sooner. The exact symptoms you experience from Vodka may be different from what others will experience, but one thing seems obvious, your body is telling you Vodka is not your friend.
