I'm sure this has something to do with building a nest. My female rabbit used to pull most of her fur of her back to make a nest when she had phantom pregnancies. It may be that this is what your rabbit is doing.
to fight over the female
No, but they may bite an uncooperative doe. A male rabbit that bites it's mate is not a desirable breeder in my rabbitry.
No,the rabbits not bite people...Only if they have rabies(the zombies)...
All rabbits bite. It is their only self-defense.
Don't know????
with there claws and teeth, the female rabbit will use there teeth and bite down very hard on its foes. They are more likely to use their very strong and huge back feet to scratch and rip at their foes.
Male rabbits either bite ti protect themselves or they bite to protect a mate or their babies, or they just wan to fight and play.
Yes they do, normally they bite because of a reason. If they're new, they might bite you everytime you cuddle them or feed them because they dont know you too well. I also have two rabbits of my own who bite me quite alot.
They can bite but that's about it for harm. There able to bite, but they don't bite often.
Not really, but they can bite hard. I've been bitten enough times. Most of the time they give a softer warning bite before they really dig in. What are you doing to all these rabbits to make them bite you? Rabbits are fairly timid and don't bite unless they are provoked.
From another animal bite?
Yes, female rabbits bite, just like males, or any other mammal might. Our house rabbit has been known to give a sharp nip to fingers or clothing when feeling particularly grumpy about something, such as being picked up or scooted back into her cage earlier than expected. It is a very natural defence characteristic that may carry over into your domestic rabbits, having very few ways to tell you when they are not happy about something. For most rabbits it is not a common occurrence and only rarely causes any significant damage. So reasonable care and observation, and sometimes simple patience, will often overcome the problem should your rabbit have this habit.
