The reason zoo keepers wear tan or khaki colored cloths goes back to the early 19th century England.. Kings and royals had “animal collections”. Which we now call a “zoo”.
The royal families would make the peasants care the animals. Peasant clothing consisted mostly of sack cloth with no dye. Therefore the color was tan.
When the ”Zoo” became more popular across England the color remained in order to identify the workers.

Black and Khakis =AwesomeNot only 'can you wear it' you Should wear it. Those two colors are awesome and classic!Absolutely. Also navy is great and so is apples.Yes. Khaki and black are both colors my mom describes as: "It can go with anything!" I would suggest you wear lighter khaki's, like "stone" colored khaki's if you're a younger person. A medium to dark khaki with black kinda looks outdated.Wear whatever you want. It does not matter if you are "stylish". If it is comfortable, wear it. People look the best when they are happy.
