Ditto for the quarter and half-dollar, as I'm sure you noticed.

In order to produce enough Bicentennial coins for circulation and for collectors, the Mint did not issue any 1975 quarters, halves, or dollars. Regulations governing dates were temporarily suspended to allow the use of 1976 on coins struck in both '75 and '76.
