Look in the removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
Look in the housing located at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
Should be in a removable housing at the engine end of the upper radiator hose
check solder connections on circuit board to resisters in upper right corner, 4 of them.
Correct torque on 2000 model : 18 Ft. lbs.- upper intake manifold [ plenum ].
It is the black plastic looking thing on the top center of the engine. They give alot of problems by wearing through and leaking water into the engine. <--- on a 3.8 but a 2001 century does not have this engine in it!
The Thermostat is located in the neck where the upper radiator hose connects to the engine. you have to take off the upper intake plenum to access this. Alot of crap just to change the thermostat. excellent design GM. Jamie
AnswerThe firing order for a 4-cylinder 2.2L Buick Century is: 1-3-4-2. The distributor rotates in a clockwise direction, with #1 plug wire located at the upper left of the distributorThe firing order on a 3.1 v6 is simple. 1-2-3-4-5-6 See a diagram of the 3.1 and 3.8 here.http://www.2carpros.com/forum/1999-buick-century-spark-plug-firing-order-vt177159.htmlhttp://autorepair.about.com/od/enginefiringorders1/
