You should never run your car when it is not warm enough. More than likely you need a Transmission Fluid change, and the filter as well. Which is quite easy, but I would advise you to never run your car until it is fully warm enough for the car to be driveable.
delay, wait, hesitate
Several things can cause a vehicle to run poorly and the engine to stall or hesitate. A problem with the choke, spark plugs, fuel pump, or fuel filter can cause engines to hesitate or stall.
A leak in the brake booster is one common reason why a car would stall or hesitate when the brakes are pushed. There could also be an obstruction in the brake line.
also it might have a little lose of power when running but no signs of ever trying to stall when it is rolling just when its stopped in neutral.
Not using premium fuel caused that in my 2004 Navigator.

Alternator is not making enough power.
My car does the same thing, except for the low oil... from time to time when I come to a stop I'll push in the clutch and it will randomly stall... I think its b/c my idle is not set high enough, but there could be a different reason...
Electro Proportional Pressure Reducing Valve, it decreases pump flow to prevent engine stall
