He has never said that. I don't know who told you that Barack Obama ever compared himself to the Prophet Muhammad or to anyone else in religious history (Buddha, Jesus, Moses, etc). But we have just about everything President Obama has said or written, and at no time has he made such a comment. This sounds to me like another internet myth.
According to Sikhism, God himself sent Guru Nanak to deliver his message to the world, without jamming his name in the name of God like Christans, who also belive Jesus to be a form of God. Islam, as prophet Mohammed proclaimed himself as the final prophet, and to accept Islam you have to accept Mohammed and his doings as godly.
The prophet himself led the namaz while the companion Bilal (R) was the one who said the adhaan
If you mean by Muhammad the prophet, then he considers himself; and Muslim people consider him; the last God prophet and messenger to whom God revealed the Quran and that He is human assigned by God to lead people the right God path and to worship God with no partner, no son, no companion, no associate, and no equivalence. Refer to question below.
Mohammed did NOT kill van Gogh. Van gogh shot himself shot himself.
No.... the prophet Mohammed spoke about peace but he always carried a back sword. it also said in the quran that himself and his army 1200 strong killed 20,000 mecans. in conclusion he did not speak the truth he just gives reasons to justify himself

Certainly. Very many Israelites endeavored to achieve prophecy. Sometimes a prophet might balk at delivering a particular message or consider himself unprepared (Jeremiah ch.1), but even then, prophecy itself was a sought-after goal.
It is the duty of every Muslim to emulate the traditions of the prophet Mohammed (s.a.w.) this is called following sunnah, personality is the wrong term as Mohammed (s.a.w.) was commanded by Allah (s.w.t.) all the time so he did not do a single thing from himself as mentioned in the Quran. So forget these western psychological concepts such as 'personality' and stick to Quran and Sunnah. Inshalla you will be successful in this life and the next life. The question was simply framed wrongly but I answered it as best I can.
Buddha saw the world as it is. Mohammed saw the world as he wished it to be. Jesus saw mankind as he would wish it to be. I can't believe that any of them really had a clue about the afterlife.
It depends on the religion. In Christianity, Jesus is considered God and not a prophet because he is an incarnation of God Himself. In Islam, Jesus is considered to be prophet and not God Himself because God is singular and does not have associates.
