Well, that is a matter of opinion. They have a good marketing department and good name recognition therefore a lot of people make the assumption they must be good. They used to have a good warranty which a lot of people considered a major plus but in efforts to cut costs, their warranty has been cut severely. In my own PERSONAL opinion, having worked extensively with and on PCs over the course of about 25 years or so, I don't recommend them at all. Dell now seems to deliver an average 'run of the mill' system with other manufacturers beating them significantly in quality. When I was working as a computer consultant, people were frequently asking me for recommendations. Invariably, I specifically recommended people buy ANYTHING but a Dell for that reason.
