∙ 11y agoIt's strange because Macbeth killing the king is "unnatural," and the whole balance of the hierarchy is upset and disrupted. The unnatural death is demonstrated by the unusual events that occur, like when the horses start to devour each other, etc.

∙ 8y agoThe guards were framed as the murderers of Duncan. Had they been questioned, they would certainly have denied killing him. Macbeth wanted to make sure they had no chance to deny it.
