God wrote the Ten Commandments, not Moses (Exodus 31:18 and 34:1). God gave the second set of Stone Tablets because Moses broke the first Tablets upon seeing the Golden Calf (Exodus ch.32).
it was said that moses talked to god for 40 years so it means the commandments take 40 years to make P.S it was NOT said in the bible
God himself gave Moses the Ten Commandments. These "rules" are not meant to make our lives difficult or boring. They are meant to keep us on the right path in life and people are actually happier when following the commandments.
You don't make the commandments. They are given to you at the beginning of chapter 3.

There are ten commandments mentioned in the Bible. These are referred as the decalogue. The decalogue is mentioned three times; in Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 5, and Exodus 34. Curiously, they aren't always the same. Only the Exodus 34 version is actually called the Ten Commandments.AnswerExodus 34 mentioned Ten Commandments. The passages in Exodus 20 and Deuteronomy 5 contain more than ten, totaling fifteen in all.
yes the ten commandments were very sacred. The reason is because when the Israelites were in the wilderness they were brand new to the holy spirit and they were confused to what god expected of them. And they began to make their own laws of how to live and god wasn't happy with their Law's he sent Moses up on the mountain and he gave the 10 commandants to Moses to give to the people of Israel so they could understand the way their lives could be better.
Moses did not tell people that. God told them. The Ten Commandments were spoken by God to the entire assembled nation of the Israelites at Mount Sinai (Exodus ch.19-20), and honoring one's parents is one of these Commandments. Honoring one's parents has many reasons. Two of them are: to help hold the family together, and to make it possible for the parents to teach the traditions to the next generation.
Commandments is given at the beginning of episode three.
