its in limp mode its the brain box for the Tran's and I'm told we cant fix them must get new

IF the speedometer is not working it is because the computer is note getting a signal from the trans. and will not tell it to shift. Try replacing the speedometer the sensor in the tail shaft of the trans.

try replacing the output speed sensor on the transmission housing. Just a small part (about $30 at auto parts stores), it screws into the transmission housing and sends a signal to the computer.
