Why does WikiAnswers allow questions to be submitted from unregistered users?

We allow questions from unregistered users because we know that sometimes you may only need to use the site one time, and we know that many people would not ask the question if they had to register an account. We strongly suggest that any user asking, answering questions to register an account so that you can keep track of your contributions to access them easier.

WikiAnswers does not allow sarcastic answers orquestions.Sarcastic questions that are not meant for the Humor and Amusement Corner category are trashed, and are not tolerated with.
Why someone will use WikiAnswers instead of other answers websites any particular Reason for that?
Probably because of the 'openness' of WikiAnswers. Many other forums don't allow questions or answers to be edited once they've been submitted, which means many answers (and questions) may just be completely wrong.

Think of not signing up as a demo version of WikiAnswers - you can use some of the features of WikiAnswers, just to get a feel for WikiAnswers, and we give you just enough so you can figure out how everything works on WikiAnswers. Signing up for your account gives you all the standard features on WikiAnswers that you didn't get in your 'demo' version of WikiAnswers. The standard features include editing, while the demo version does not. Signing up for WikiAnswers is completely free, so signing up for WikiAnswers will allow you to edit questions. The other main reason is because of vandalism. 90% of vandalism occurs from unregistered users on WikiAnswers, so giving unregistered users the power to edit a question could potentially give them the power to wipe out every answer on WikiAnswers. That is why you must sign up for an account to edit.

It depends on what terms.If you are joining a program on WikiAnswers, they only judge you if your questions are against WikiAnswers' rules, and will not allow you to join a program if you ask questions against the rules.Otherwise, you are not judged by the questions you ask.

The system can't handle punctuation, and it reduces the amount of same questions asked because they differed by a comma.
How can you merge exactly identical questions into 1 question?
The WikiAnswers site does not allow you to have two identical questions. If there are two questions that would have an identical answer, then they should be merged. Only Supervisors have this ability.
Why can't you have parentheses in your questions?
Limitations in the WikiAnswers database do not allow certain characters to be used in questions. Also, we would be reluctant to add commas to questions, as parentheses would allow many different variations of a question to be asked. See Related Question.
