Sounds like window regulator. They are expensive. I would check first to make sure window is in the proper regulator slot.
Yes, anything you want can go down slides
souds like the window came of the regulator mount oryou have a bad reg or motor
It sounds as if your window motor is either going out or the window regulator is binding somewhere. I have heard of people putting a good silicone spray along the window track and that sometimes helps. You will have to remove the interior door panel to get access to the window track. It is what the window slides up and down in. (the left and right side of the window.) Good luck.
I also have a 92. In my case, it was a clip located on the window itself. I was told I would have to replace the entire window in order to rectify.
Take door panel off... Look inside window panel while going up and down, see what is missing or broken , then replace or fix.
A power window relay switch relays the power from the car's battery, to the switch itself, and then to the window motor. When pressing the button inside of the car it allows the power to go from the relay switch to the motor and roll the window up or down.
Well if everything else is working, then the window itself maybe stuck. That maybe the only that could be wrong with it.
Check the window switch.
Turning the window crank in a counter clockwise direction, the window will go down, reverse direction to raise it. If you are speaking of the rear window the switch is on the a/c control panel. Down makes the window go down and up is up
im almost positive the window is off its track, if u cant roll it up, and it slips down by itself, but doesnt go down when you try to roll it down then yes its off its track
there might be something mechanically wrong withe the window itself. ie the regulator arm is jamming or needs lubricating.
the window switch is bad
