It is most likely the mass air flow sensor that is going bad. I had a similar experience and replaced the maf and that did the trick.
Incorrect timing, or timing has jumped.

It isprobably not getting fuel or not getting spark.
1994 Lincoln Mark VII doesn't exist.
Out of time, or vapor locking if overheated.

Its the hole arm that holds the fuelpump,theres is elets. wireing
Check the crank sensor. This what happened on my 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII.

there is a security chip under the colum maybe it fell out happened to me once
it may be the fuel pump
