The 3.2 litre engine runs a 10:1 compression ratio. Higher Octane fuel prevents knocking, detonation, and possible engine damage. Also its worth mentioning that in Europe 91 octane is low grade fuel.

That being said the engine does have a knock sensor. In the event of engine knocking the ignition timing will be retarded in increments of 2.3 degrees to a max of 15 degrees. This will prevent engine damage that could come from lower grade fuel.

Here is the catch. As the ignition timing is retarded the engine will produce (slightly) less power at full throttle, and your millage may decrease. (slightly) The car calls for 91 Octane fuel. I would personally use 89 and not loose any sleep, and I would use 87 in a pinch. In the end though the decision is all yours.
You will need to remove the glove box assembly. There is a door behind the glove box where the filters are located.
On my 1998 E320, the factory manufactured the transmission without a dipstick. It was assumed it wouldn't need one. I bought one from the dealer and then serviced my transmission with dealer fluid, filter, seals, etc.
manufacturer recommends using 93 premium gas only.
Regular works just fine, there is no need to spend the extra that premium gas costs.
In California you need a copy of your Dept. of Motor Vehicles registration.

Use exactly what Acura recommends and nothing else. If it does not say use premium unleaded on the fuel door and in the owners manual then use regular. The use of premium is a total waste of money if that is not what Acura recommends.
it has a timing chain no need to change it
Hi, Can you clarify what is exactly wrong with the odometer? Those W210 cars have a sealed digital odometer. If one part of the display is faulty, you will need to have the whole unit replaced. Regards Mike S.
