I had a very similar problem with my 92 olds. with a 3.3 litre engine. tryed to find the problem for months. I recently had my transmission replaced, and they used a parts store torque converter switch. i was told it needed a factory part to work correctly. It worked! car is perfect now I hope it works for you ! Just got the 1997 olds repaired....the problem was a vacuum hose. The bill says "repair vacuum leak behind the throttle body". Thanks to this site for being there for us and to the person who tried to help.
Remove the connector from the back of your 2002 Oldsmobile Aurora running the light. Push the light in and turn at the same time, to remove it. Reverse the process to install your new running lightbulb.

brake light on when driving oldsmobile alero
It is due to your daytime running light not working properly or a burnt headlight, check your bulbs. I had the same problem and that was the problem.
Your vehicle is equipped the Daytime Running Lights, (DRL). A daytime running lamp (DRL, also daylight running lamp or daytime running light) is a lighting device on the vehicle that are installed in pairs. They automatically are switched on when the vehicle is moving forward, and is intended to increase the conspicuity of the vehicle during daylight conditions.
Did you try just turning the ignition key ON but not starting and looking at your dash lights? Usually the dash will light up all lights as a sort of check system.
It is very easy to change the license plate light on an Oldsmobile Aurora. All you need to do is remove the license plate and look above where the plate was. There are bolts that are holding the light in. Unscrew the bolts and then replace the light.
If you cut the wire from the light switch to the frount running lights (single use light) you can then hook a new wire from a keyed power source (check manuel) and the running lights will come on every time you start the truck. costs $Priceless
No, a wheel bearing should not set off a low tire pressure light in a 1999 Oldsmobile Alero.
how many points running red light in ma
I have a very expensive car, and in it that light flashes every once in a while and it means either to slow down or you are running out of gas.
If the check engine light is flashing every second or so with the engine running that means an engine cylinder misfire has been detected
my Oldsmobile alero did the same thing. It turned out to be as simple as a blown bulb in my tail light.
I wouldn't fix it if i was you.....I have a 2000 alero, and the security system (passlock) keeps it from starting often, and it seems to be a big problem with them. So if your security system isn't working but the car is running fine I wouldn't mess with it..
what does the engine light on the 1999 olds alero mean
I have a 2000 Olds Silohuette. I just reset the "Change Oil" light by turning the ignition to on(DO NOT START THE VEHICLE), pushing the accelerator down to the floor 6 times, turning the ignition off, and then starting the van. The light did not come on. Hopefully this will help.
With a scan tool.
Check the brake fluid.
take it to autozone and have it scanned
In the fuse box.
running red light cost in Queens NY
The light is built into the bumper on that car. Just above the plate.
to reset this you do the following: Put the key into the "run" position, without starting the car, but with the fan, radio, lights, etc. running. once in that position, full depress and release the accelerator pedal 3 times in a row, you will see the oil change light flash a few times on the dash, and you're done! start up the car, and the light should no longer be lit. Instructions on how to do this can also be found in the manual, just look for "change oil light" in the index in the back, and it gives you detailed instructions on how to do this.
