Check the coolant sensor on the throttle body.
check the compression on it if it turns over and doesnt start you might have fried the rings
check coils function properly. Check earthing points. Check power to the coils.
check if you have fuel and spark it needs both to work
If your car doesnt start, it could be the battery. But if the car starts and you unplug the negative cable and the car turns off, its the alternator.
Broken timing belt?
If the engine is TOTALLY dead it is not the IAC valve
fluid level low
I normally turn the key and the starter turns the motor... check complete.
Most often it is the starter and not the ignition.
One thing you need to check is to make sure you have enough gas. You also need to make sure your battery has a full charge.Ê
The timer is probably bad, if it won't advance the cycle will not start.
