There could be many problems related to smelling gas and seeing white smoke from your tailpipe. Some suggestions would be the head gasket. If the smoke has a blue tint to it, it may be oil related. If your car has a turbo, it may be the turbo needing to be replaced. To be sure, you can have a mechanic do a diagnostic on it.
The b20 will smoke the b18
If it is turbo diesel, then the turbo is blowen
have a mechanic check your turbo.most will tell u that a turbo blows black smoke but can aslso blow white smoke when turbo is malfunctioning
on the top of the turbo '02 plate will have a rubber hose connected to it
You have a blown head gasket. STOP running this engine or you will destroy it. The head gasket needs replacing. There might be another problem if you have a turbo. If so the smoke you see (if not pure white but a little gray with a burnt oil smell) might be oil leaking into the turbo unit and expelling through the exhaust. You would need to replace the turbo. Used ones for about $500 parts and $ 300 labor.
is this a diesel truck?does this engine have a turbo?if it is a diesel with a turbo,it will blow white smoke when cold till it warms upif it continues to blow smoke check your air filterother reason if it continues to blow smoke is the turbo is about to crater get it checkedalso check engine oil for coolant lossif coolant is leaking into cylanders, this will cause white smoke
you may have another bad turbo, or could even be bad rings with the oil leaking into your turbo, how long after you installed the turbo did it start happening again?
black smoke= rich fuel mixture blue smoke is oil
yes.
its farting
Your bearings are dieing, the turbo is done and you should replace it because a smoking turbo can ruin your engine because some parts of the turbo can be blow'd into the cylinders and your engine is toasted.
