If automatic - check Transmission Fluid or whole transmission system. If manual - check gearbox, clutch and ensure correct gears are being used while driving. This will vary between vehicle. Ac unit is very heavy and drains power and fuel - if you are having a problem with juddering maybe there is a power issue.
