Your WEB Browser displays the Arial font because in its settings it is set to display it if you dont have the EXACT Helvetica font it uses as defalt, or an option is not ticked that says "Allow pages to chose their fonts instead of mine above".
In internet Explorer, Goto Options, Internet Options, General, Aperance, Fonts to see your settings.
In FireFox, Tools, Options, Content, and click on Advanced it the "Fonts & Colors" Section. Hope this Helps.
If you have just installed a new DVD drive and its drivers, it should appear in 'My Computer'. This holds for Linux and Windows OS's.

If you are running a Windows operating system, in the Windows folder on your C:\ drive, in the Fonts folder are the fonts that are installed. If you browse to the folder in a Windows Explorer and show the Status bar (under the View menu) when you select the Fonts folder the number of fonts will appear in the status bar.
Go to start, and then click all programs and it will appear with a list of programs installed on your computer. Then search for a folder called accessories and inside that there is the Run program. Hope that helps

You are probably using a software to colorize or change windows themes. If you uninstall it and set the Theme (from Display Properies dialog) back to Windows XP. this will probably fix it
If it is a windows OS, it will appear on the loading screen (something like xp, 95, vista...) If you want more details like the version or build number, go to my computer and click "View system information".
