If it has air bag suspension, air bags could be shot or the air compressor for the air bag suspension not working.
the air bag compressor is under the hood on the front driver side usually under the air filter box
You may have a leak some where. Maybe a air hose, air bag, air compressor, exc. Get under the truck with a bottle of soapy water and spray it every where you see air hoses, air bag or air compressor. If there is a leak you will see bubbles and you found your leak.

Check the air compressor for short There are only a few wire's running to your air compressor and if none of those are causing the problem you are going to have to try and get under the rear of the car where the two wiring harness's are at each air bag and start from there working towards the front to try and find a loose wire or a bad spot. other than that your bags may have leaked causing your compressor to work over time and just blown the fuse and also wore out the compressor.
Yes , if you don't shut off the air compressor switch before jacking up the vehicle
my shop told me that my compressor went out - later I found out that the air bag had tiny holes ffrom dry rot on the INSIDE of the bag which was what was killing my compressor! I ended up converting to a pssive system. I got it from StrutMasters.com mainly because it came with a lifetime warranty. I was pleasantly surprised at the ride quality and would never go back to air bags and compressors again.
replace the air bag before you burn up the pump
The air bag suspension ''can'' be aired up manually if that's what you mean, first buy an air hose nozzle that goes to an air compressor and a hose clamp, then go to a gas station, open your hood, the driver's side front corner is where you will find the black air compressor with a black rubber hose coming out the end ,cut that hose ,open your trunk ,turn your air bag compressor switch on ,put some change in the air machine and turn it on connect the air nozzle to end of the compressor hose stick the air nozzle into the end of the rubber hose you cut you will see the back side of the car rising rapidly ,take nozzle out when you reach your desired height, clamp the end of the hose,go to the trunk and turn the air bag compressor switch to off ,remember this only a temporary fix! My 2000 t.c. Only stayed up for 3 or 4 days before i had to air it up again but i never used a clamp neither so with the clamp I'm sure it should hold the air longer, good luck
i have two mark 8's your problem is your air bag is leaking.... the side that is hissing is the side to change... will not do it all the time... the air bagg gets cracked and dry rot, expecially at bottom of rubber bag
