because ADH (anti-diuretic hormone) decreases which causes your kindney's to re-absorb less water back into the blood which then causes an increase in urine production. If you don't know what ADH is .... it is the hormone that the brain uses to maintain water levels as its important that water levels are kept steady throughout the body so it's control system isn't affected.

Hope this helps :)

You get water after oxidation of the ethanol or the alcohol. But that is not the reason. That is true for most of the food articles. You add water to ethanol before consumption. Some preparations of ethanol like beer contains lot of water in it. So urine is formed in more quantity.

How can ethanol reduce carbon emissions?

Ethanol is a fuel made from plants. When we burn this fuel, it does emit carbon dioxide, but of course this was originally absorbed from the atmosphere by the plants, so there is no net increase in the amount of atmospheric carbon dioxide no matter how much ethanol we use (apart from a small amount produced by generating electricity used in the production of the ethanol). A disadvantage of using ethanol for motor fuel is that its production competes with food crops.

What increase absorbance of phenol in ethanol?

Increasing the amount of phenol in the solution

How does etg testing work?

Ethyl glucuronide (EtG) is a direct metabolite of ethanol alcohol. The presence of EtG in the urine can be used to detect recent alcohol consumption, even after the ethanol alcohol is no longer measurable. The presence of EtG in the urine demonstrates that ethanol alcohol was ingested within the past three or four days, or roughly 80 hours after the ethanol alcohol has been metabolized by the body. As a result, it can be determined that a urine alcohol test employing EtG is a more accurate indicator of the recent consumption of alcohol as opposed to simply measuring for the existence of ethanol alcohol.

What is the balanced equation for the production of benzocaine from PABA aka para-aminobenzoic acid and ethanol?

PABA +ethanol --> benzocaineAcid is used as a catylsis in this reaction and the mechanism is Fischer Esterification

You accidentally licked hand sanitizer off your hand what will happen?

When did most of the name brand sodas start using high fructose corn syrup because it seems like they all do now even Dr Pepper?

The demand for sweeteners began to outstrip sugar beet supply soon after the end of WWII. Farmers soon began to grow 'feed' corn as a cash crop, rather than as a livestock feed, due to the low appearance requirements, since it was of such a low labour and enrichment level crop. Feed corn is practically a 'seed and forget' crop. Feed corn as sweetener production outstripped that for human consumption some time in the early 60s, and the proportion actually used for animal feed continues to drop. Another confounding factor is the increase of feed corn consumption by ethanol production. Ethanol demand is small now, but will continue to increase. As a 'short' answer; 'Soon after the end of WWII, and it continues to increase, as the US population and 'sweet tooth' continues to drive increased demand'

Which of the following States is the likeliest place for the further development of ethanol and other biofuel production?

Iowa is the most likely state where further development of ethanol and other biofuel production will take place.

Can you make ethanol at home?

Yes. In some countries (such as the US), you must obtain a permit from the BATF and the ethanol produced must be mixed with a substance that renders it unfit for human consumption. The ethanol must be used for producing energy, not to drink.
