It seems your dog doesn't want to be the alpha. She is simply 'surrendering' herself to the other dog.

If the female Mastiff was artificially inseminated then she could easily whelp the puppies. As to the appearance i am completely unsure, i am personally trying to get a little just from sheer curiosity. I have a friend with a pure English Mastiff female and another with a pure Male Chihuahua, both are from healthy and temperamentally sound bloodlines so i might make this happen!
