Why does brake warning light come on and off on 1996 Mitsubishi pajero?

Hi there, my first guess would be that you have a brake fluid leak and the level of brake fluid in the reservoir is *just* high enough to "tell" the sensor that it's ok. Then if you go around bends, the liquid moves inside the container and does *not* touch the sensor anymore - on - off - on - off. Check for leaks, and check the level. If you don't find a leak but the level is low, there still most likely is a leak. Just refilling is only a short-term solution, not finding and fixing the leak is dangerous, as you can imagine.
