Why is cafod important?
CAFOD is the Catholic Agency For Overseas Development. It is important because it is an aid agency that helps people living in England and Wales. The goal of the agency is to help alleviate poverty.

Because Christians believe that you have to help the poor from teachings in the Bible to get into Heaven and to be a good Christian. Good Bible references that show this is the Parable of the sheep and goats, the Good Samaritian, Deuteronomy 24: 14-22, the widow's mite, and many others. Plus it's a catholic charity so Catholics obviously support the charity.
