If the vehicle is getting very low on fuel, the fuel pump may be picking up debris in the fuel tank, which can clog the fuel pump, fuel filter, and/or fuel injection system.
Bad fuel injectors, low fuel pressure, improperly set idle speeds, dirty throttle bodies, stuck EGR valve, vacuum leaks and bad O2 sensors for starters....
It should be diesel fuel in a diesel car - in the US and Europe, that will be #2 Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel.
Plugged fuel filter or filters
My friend has a 1996 v6 camaro and his car don't have a low fuel light on it. so there is your answer no they do not have one on them. My friend has a 1996 v6 camaro and his car don't have a low fuel light on it. so there is your answer no they do not have one on them.
If the car is starving for fuel or air (low power at idle), the car will stall while turning.
you need to put gas in the car.
What car? low fuel level???
no! running a car low on gas will make all the sediment in the tank be sucked in to the fuel pump and into the fuel filter clogging the filter. replace the fuel filter at 20 000 mile intervals. run the car no lower then a 1/4 tank
Advantages are very low emissions. Disadvantage is rarity of hydrogen fuel stations.
constantly running your car with low fuel will burn out your fuel pump
my car has no power when driving. plus its hard to start. after i ran it low on fuel
When it takes a car a long time to accelerate, the car may need a tune-up. Also, the fuel injectors may need to be cleaned or replaced, or the fuel pump could be going bad, or the fuel pressure is too low.
