By pushing the gas pedal all the way to the "floor"
Letting go of the pedal or pushing the gas pedal.
Pushing on the brake pedal
Because, if the car is in neutral, you have no ability to accelerate pushing the gas pedal.
In the vast majority of the cases it is driver error. The driver thinks they are pushing the brake pedal when in fact they are pushing the accelerator pedal. It can also be caused by poor desing of the pedals. In some very few cases it can be caused by a mechanical problem with the car itself but rarely.
Well I have had that problem before, but I punctured the transmission oil pan and the car lost all its transmission oil, I have a 96 Altima, u might try checking the oil, I did and the car runs without it, it wont move.
I know because mine just went out this morning. TPS - Throttle Position Sensor. In lamens terms it's what tells your car that your pushing the gas pedal. Without it you'll notice your car has no umph. It doesn't recognize you're accelerating.
because all vehicles have an idle. Without an idle your car would not stay running.
If you step on the brake pedal , yes
It could be your torque converter stays locked up and it would act like a standard shift car would if you were coming to a stop without pushing in the clutch pedal.
No it can't move but it can move by pushing it.Hard but it moves.
The pedal in the car you push to go faster is the accelerator pedal.
