96 camaro with a 3.8 engine a code of p1441 comes up the car idles at 2500 rpm when the weather is cold but illes at 700 rpm when the engine is warm or the weather is warm?
This is an EVAP purge code - Possibly the purge valve or switch.
Does precipitation come before or after a warm front?
Not normally before a warm front, precipitation comes before and after a cold front. When you have warm air and a cold front comes through, you mix warm with cold and that brings precipitation.

Makes no difference if the engine is warm or cold. Just make sure the engine has not been run for at least 30 minutes before checking the oil level. This way you will get a very accurate reading. I normally check my oil level after the car has sat overnight.

I am not a pro, but mine broke the locating pin on the cam pully, which altered the cam timing. Luckily the valves do not touch the pistons! The engine was pulled and ready for rebuild when it was found. I rebuilt it anyway.

You may want to check for sticking throttle linkage/cable and also your ignition timing may be advanced
