Evidentialism is exactly what it sounds like. It depends on physical evidence in order to prove or disprove the existence of, in this case, a god / gods. There is no such evidence and likely never will be! For this reason evidentialists will always call the religious illogical, even naieve, and the religious will always consider evidentialists heretical. Its like marmite; you either love it or you hate it, and people will always defend their own opinion about it, even to the extent of attacking the opinion of another.

Why do Jews tend to live in Los Angeles or New York?

Jews tend to live in cities for a variety of reasons. 1) Jewish Ritual Requirements: More religious Jews tend to live close-together because they need kosher outlets for food, mikvot for cleanliness, synagogues to pray in, and a variety of other religious requirements that are easier to sustain in an urban environment. 2) Occupations: It is usually easier to get jobs in cities, especially in the highly skilled professions that many Jews either desire to participate in or actively participate in. 3) Community: Jews like to be around other Jews. There is a religious and cultural continuity that they share with each other that they do not share with others. (This is just like the Chinese or Italians.) As for New York and Los Angeles specifically, the draw to New York is commerce and the draw to Los Angeles is the film industry. Once a core nucleus of Jews settled these areas, the communities just kept growing larger.

Why are Americans so liberal?

I'm not sure that's an accurate statement. More accurate would be to say that certain regions of the United States (for example, the Northeast) tend to vote liberal, whereas other parts of the country (for example, the Deep South) tend to vote conservative. And while Americans are generally moderate on some issues, there is quite a divide between religious conservatives (especially Christian conservatives) and Americans who consider themselves not very religious. So, yes, you can find plenty of liberals in America (the term for where they live is "blue states"); but you can also find plenty of conservatives (who tend to live in what is called "red states").

What is lack of religious belief and values?

Some would argue that is agnosticism or atheism. However, simply having a lack of religious belief or values makes a person a secularists in the most primary sense. Agnosticism and atheism are stated positions that come through a tremendous amount of contemplation and thinking. Atheism is a complete disavowal that any deity or god(s) exist (or at least a 99% certainty if one tends to be an empiricist). Agnostics tend toward continued debate on the issue. Short answer: Secularism.

What is religious absolutism?

Religious absolutism is a perspective that religions are not open to interpretation and are only to be examined and believed as rote dogmas. Religious absolutists refuse to engage with religious texts in a bilateral exchange and debate principles with those who hold contrary views. The strongest adversaries of religious absolutists tend to be liberal religious leaders, who often entertain a more moderate and open view towards reinterpreting religious precepts.
