if the systems used in a civilization fulfills the basic needs of the people and provides a secure life , that system will advance than the other systems which is not much effective in providing basic needs.

All civilizations tend toward religion for this is mankind's missing inner nature, to worship and have religion together, to worship the true God. It is this missing part of us that causes us to seek out and worship and adore something.

Even communism has the religion of Atheism, requiring extensive faith of unseen and unheard things unproven such as macro-evolution, the big bang theory, with an extensively organized fringe group of fanatics that will hurt and kill others in the defense of their own brand of religion. God made man with a hole He can only fill.

All men know there is a God for God designed us that way. All of creation cries out the evidence of a creator. Even the communist countries have a religious belief that, "The belief in God is the opium of the masses." Stalin was a self proclaimed atheist. There is a great deal of historical evidence that Adolf Hitler was also an atheist. Stalin's fanatic religious atheists killed 40 million. All civilizations tend toward religion. The belief there is no God is still a belief with it's own fringe group of dangerous fanatics.

Islam's religion leads to poverty stricken countries ruled by theocratic dictators. The religion of Christianity leads toward more government and better quality middle class and more commercial development. But both of these civilizations tend toward religion. Over 80% of the population in America believes there is a God. In Islamic countries if a person does not tend toward religion his life or welfare may be at risk. In America no one cares what another man believes but they still all have strong tendencies toward religion. It is the same all over. All civilizations tend toward religion, for this is man's tendency.

Those civilisations that get too dominated by religion will fail sooner rather than later. If the religious factions taken over government then all original thought is stifled and the civilisation will collapse.
