They generally locate the heater motor speed resistor nearby the blower motor because the resistor depends on the blower to keep it cooled.
Heater blower motor is defective and locked up, or possible short in the wiring.
i think it probably because the motor has a ground problem or it has bad brushes and is is drawing to much energy for the resistor
There is an electrical short to ground in the fan switch or in the blower motor itself.
There's a short in your main line going to your fuel heater.
Obviously something's wrong in the circuit.
The blower motor is failing and will need replaced.
could be head gasket problem. does your heater work? might need heater core , clogged up. do compression test. or bypass heater core and see if that works.
bottom element is probably bad. another sign of this is that you run out of hot water fast.
Are both your brake lights blowing out? If it affects only one light: it could be a bad light socket, or a pinched or frayed wire that is shorting out.
